My First Thoughts On Tragedy

My first thoughts on tragedy are that it is split into four major areas/categories; emotions, afflictions, style and media. Emotions consists of words describing how you're feeling. These are used regularly to give further emphasis onto the idea of an emotional blanket. An emotional blanket is what's used to relieve you of the pain of life, it takes the horrific circumstances of a great person and churns them over and over before spitting them out, symbolizing how the person goes from having everything to living on nothing. This affects your emotions greatly, as it is relatable to everyone (the golden rule that Aristotle created). This causes your emotions to pour out, weather it be your tears or your voice, thus making you feel joyful and great about yourself for the fact that you aren't experiencing such merciless misfortune. The category afflictions consists of arguments between persons within a play. This is also very relatable as we experience conflicts every day. The conflict is also what causes the suspense and the
