Lady Macbeth

Date: Thursday the 5th of December 2013 (13:08:15)
Name of patient: Lady Macbeth
Age: 34
Family situation: Parents unknown, no children, no relatable family other than husband, out of touch with husband (apart from each other), royalty (queen)

General situation: Lady Macbeth seems to have some serious form of obsessive compulsive disorder, her need for complete influence and control over the nature of Macbeth has become something of a natural occurrence to her. Since of late Macbeth has become almost insane, disrupting the relationship he has formed with Lady Macbeth by ignoring her and not displaying his intentions. This has caused Lady Macbeth to lose touch with herself, becoming almost crazed or psychotic. She showed several signs of this behavior, "I have seen her rise from her bed, throw her night-gown upon her, unlock her closet, take forth paper, fold it, write upon’t, read it, afterwards seal it, and again return to bed; yet all this while in a most fast sleep." This also shows that she has developed some sort of somniloquy or parasomnia most likely caused by traumatic events or experiences. I was also told that she washes her hands, this could be some form of an emotional breakdown once again caused by some sort of traumatic event. She is obviously suffering and this could greatly influence the rest of the nation as she is the queen and is powerful to a great extent. She also seems to be in some form of denial shown by her lack of knowledge of her surrounding area (To bed, to bed! there’s knocking at the gate) I recommend giving her time to emotionally heal and support herself again, but she is welcome to use tranquillizers in small doses to calm or ease the pain of her post traumatic stress disorder.
